A Random Act of Generosity
A couple of days back I opened my e-mail as I do every morning and found 5 e-mails containing obituary/death notices that had been published in the Baltimore Sun, relating to people in my database. I was very surprised.
The e-mails were sent by Greg Burton, Well I e-mailed Greg back thanking him for sending me the information. I was also curious as to Greg's possible connection to anyone in my database, so I asked him in the e-mail how he was connected.
His response is quite amazing and here it is in his own words;
You are welcome, I am not connected. I have a TNG site also, and am a Maryland researcher. I searched for TNG sites and then checked to see if there were Maryland people. I have access to the Baltimore Sun via the Baltimore County Library and other Maryland records.
Many people have helped me build my family tree, providing records for other researchers just returns the favor. Truly a random act of generosity!

I have the dates of death for Christobelle Gittens Marshall and George Howell Marshall.
Christobelle's is 11 Jul 1937 in New York City. Burial was at St. Michael's Astoria July 14th.
George died 29 Jun 1972 and was buried at St. Michael's also.
